This past weekend I encountered a Worthy Opponent… THE COLD!
If you’ve ever had your breath taken from you unexpectedly this message will resonate with you.
The COLD is a cruel and relentless BITCH…
But she also GIVES far more than she TAKES!
However, if you seek GROWTH you must be willing to GET COMFORTABLE BEING UNCOMFORTABLE!
This THEME was at the heart of my recent experience in MAINE this past weekend.
It is amazing to see what happens when people show up and surround themselves with a group of like-minded individuals committed to GROWTH.
We empowered each other to face the simple truths of our own inner nature and all ultimately realized we are so much STRONGER and more POWERFUL than we thought.
Ask yourself these four questions…
- If not you, then who?
- If not this, then what?
- If not now, then when?
- If not here, then where?
The life you’re living is your own! It’s time you start acting accordingly!
Our mantra for the weekend was…
Right Thing. Right Place. Right Time…
Or as even more succinctly articulated by our instructor Samuel Whiting.
No Ego, We Go!
Beyond competition, comparison, this is your own hero’s journey, a great quest, in which your most noble and worthy opponent is your mind.
Do not be a slave to YOUR MIND!
